Class Policy

• No one is required to speak or share.
• We will send you a welcome letter after you register.
• We will send you the class invitation link two days before each class.
• We will send you the class invitation link thirty minutes before each class.
• You agree to us recording the camera and microphone signals you send to us for your device.
     • The class will not be recorded unless a registered participant requests a recording and all participant's agree to be recorded.
     • If the class is recorded, only enrolled class members will be allowed access to it for the following 30 days.
• These classes and groups are not a replacement for therapy, and we will not do therapy during the classes.
• Self-CompassionateLiving.com's programs will offer you the tools for creating and cultivating self-compassion; they are not a substitute for mental health care, personal therapy, or medical treatment.
Your personal safety and emotional well-being/safety are your responsibility.

Although we try to keep the classes light-hearted, occasionally, you may experience challenging memories and feelings.

If you have a history of a mental health condition or other concerns you think may impact your ability to take this course, please contact your healthcare professional to determine if this course is right for you. Your personal contact information may be used if the teacher or facilitator reasonably determines a need to call emergency services on your behalf.

Group Safety

• Participants may be removed to ensure that we provide the safest space for our participants and teachers. During the event, if the teachers and facilitators believe you are not participating appropriately, you may be asked to leave the workshop or be removed from it.

     • These are some of the reasons for removal:
          • Comments intentionally or seemingly causing discomfort to other participants.
          • Use of language that can be considered offensive, unkind, aggressive, or threatening.
          • Any berating, verbal harassment, and/or abuse to participants and/or instructor(s).
• The removed participant will receive a refund for a per-session prorated cost of tuition as described in the refund policy.
